Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a genetic disease, causing the body to produce thick, sticky mucus that attacks the lungs and digestive system. If not properly treated, it can lead to chronic and fatal lung infections. Our son Tyler was diagnosed at birth with CF and is now 3 years old and doing very well fighting this disorder.
May 4th is the annual Great Strides walk-a-thon at the Bradley beach boardwalk along the Jersey Shore. Great Strides helps raise money so that researchers can develop new treatments, therapies and eventually a cure for Cystic Fibroses.
Team TNT is a group friends and family that raise money and walk together to raise awareness for CF. Last year, team TNT was able to raise $5,700. This year team TNT would like to raise $6,000. Please join us and participate in this event to support awareness and help to raise the necessary money for researchers to continue their efforts in finding a cure.
